BURGESS, Shirley - Unexpectedly after a brief illness, on November 23, 2009 at the age of 78. Beloved wife and high school sweetheart of Harold, married for 58 years. Loving and devoted mother of Cheryl and Ron and his wife Alice. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren David and Amy Kolin, Becky and Dave De Melo, Greg (Sherisse) and Kim Raposo. Great-grandmother of Jakob and Alicia. Predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Leona and Bill Keough. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, November 28 from 1-4 p.m. at the Brampton Golf and Country Club, 7700 Kennedy Road South, Brampton.
