Shirley passed away peacefully at Tall Pines Long Term Care Facility. Beloved wife of William for 60 years. Devoted mom of Bruce (Dianne), Sandra (Randy), Robert (Lisa), Cheryl (Ian), Karen (Alvaro), Leslie (Russ), Laura (Tony), Darlene (Burt), Brian (Roxane), Michael (Sue), and Lisa. A caring grandmother to Steven (Silvia), Melissa (Eric), Darren (Anna), Catherine (Shawn), Andrew, Kristy (Sean),Amanda, Alicia, Alanna, Geoffrey (Carla), Jennifer, Jessica, Julia, Jonathan, Jacqueline, Roger, Amy, Samantha, Ryan (Casey), Allison (Brandon), Kevin, Kristen, Nicole, Gregg, Natalie, Cory, Jasmine, Brennan, Michael, Keisha, Christian, Malcolm and LaShawna.Great-grandmother to Sophia, Ethan, Hayden, Brock, Tabitha, Adam, Luke, Mark, and Kayden. Shirley was an avid gardener and animal lover. She loved spending her summers at the cottage with her family, and travelling the world with her loving husband. Many thanks to the staff at Tall Pines. Friends and Family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton” Chapel (52 Main St. S, Brampton) on Wednesday May 4th from 3:00 to 7:00p.m. with a Funeral Service held on Thursday May 5th at 11:00a.m. at St. Bartholomew’s United Church (22 Abbey Road, Brampton). Interment Meadowvale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a donation made in Shirley’s honour to The Alzheimer Society would be much appreciated by the family.
