Born on September 23, 1935 in New Amsterdam, Guyana, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2023 at Humber River Hospital at the age of 87.
Loving mother of Walter, Sandra (Hilton), George, Fenton (Sherlene), Pamela (predeceased), Robert (predeceased), and Jenny (predeceased). Cherished grandmother of Lealon, Jason, Sean, Stephon, Kevin, Tiffany, Crystal, Chanel, Fenton Jr., Matthew, Renee, and great grandchildren. Daughter of Thomas & Jasodra; sister of Beatrice, Sydney, Mavis, Walter, Kenneth (all predeceased), Rosemary, & Cyril. Sheila will be forever loved and greatly missed by all her extended family including numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, Weston on Sunday from 4-8pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 16th at 10:30am. Interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Humber River Hospital, Toronto; or to St. Hilda's Anglican Church would be appreciated.
