Sabourin, Sheila Margaret

Peacefully, on Saturday March 19, 2022,at the Humber River Hospital in Toronto, at the age of 85.

Beloved partner to Chester “Marty” Szoldra. Loving mother to Lisa (Fernando), Cindy, Darlene (Brian) Cassar, Mike (Muriel), Chris (Brian). Devoted to her many Grandchildren, Sarah, Rachel, Vanessa, Jeremy, Jonathan, Steven. Will be sadly missed by her brothers, Steven (Isabel), and Bernie Walsh in Halifax, NS.

Sheila loved unconditionally, always looking after her family before herself. Whether it was inviting you to dinner, then sending you home with her famous “Mom’s Care Package”.Sheila had a heart of gold, and no one went without. Always an “I love you” when departing a visit, or over the phone.

Sheila was an avid bargain hunter.She loved her secondhand stores, finding those nick-nacks from garage sales, or doing cross border shopping and even trying her luck at the casino. And of course, a game of Bingo.
Sheila/Mom, always looked forward to gatherings. From picnics at a park, to BBQ’s in the back yard. Any time to spend with the people she love’s most, her family. Christmas was her favorite holiday. It gave her joy to spoil everyone, as she always knew how.

Although cremation has already taken place, a Memorial Service will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, (2035 Weston Rd. Weston Ontario), in the chapel, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, from 12:30-1:30pm.
