Sergio Cecco

Cecco, Sergio – after a courageous battle, passed away on June 1st, 2014 at the age of 90 years. Devoted husband of Oliva (nee Duria). Dear father of Richard (Mary) and Robert (Rebecca). Proud grandfather of Linda, Amanda, Katrina, Kevin and Nicole. He will be fondly remembered by his many friends, extended family here and abroad. A special thank you to the CCAC Care Coordinator Judy Powell, Dr. R. Bruni, home care nurse Joshua, PSW Matilde and the rest of the care team for their caring support of Sergio during his illness. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated.
