It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Sean McLoughlin at the age of 57 on December 26, 2014 at 11:05pm at Brampton Civic Hospital with his family at his side.
Sean devoted 30 years of his life to being a dedicated Metro Toronto police officer in various divisions and positions. He was also a passionate Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Brampton council number 4973; which he truly enjoyed.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lise (nee Tremblay) and his children Brenda (Steven LeDrew), Angela (Curtis Nolan), and Iain; his grandchildren Breanna, Olivia, Allayah, and Lochlan. As well as his sisters Maureen and Susan and his brothers William, Joseph, David, and Timothy. Pre-deceased by his parents Vincent and Gertrude, his sister Patricia and brother Frank. A cherished husband, dad, father-in-law, grandad, brother, uncle, and friend; he will be loved forever & always and his spirit will live on forever in our hearts and memories.
Visitation services will be held at Wards funeral home on Main Street in Brampton on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Final goodbyes and casket closing ceremony will be at Wards on Wednesday December 31, 2014 at 10am with the funeral to follow at 11am at St. Mary's Church on Main Street in Brampton. He will be laid to rest at Assumption cemetery following the funeral. A reception and light lunch will follow at 20 Exeter Place in Brampton.
