Saverio Betro

December 7, 1930 - June 8, 2020

Born in Sant’Andrea Apostolo Dello Jonio, Italy, Saverio Betrò, immigrated to Canada in 1958 and married the love of his life Sisa in November of that same year. He was a master carpenter who loved working with wood, dancing and telling jokes. He fought valiantly his battle with cancer for one year and succumbed peacefully on June 8th surrounded by family in his final hours. He is survived by his wife Sisa and three daughters Marianna, Raffaela and Rita. He will always be remembered for his great love of family, church and friends. He was a one of a kind usher who was proud to serve his parish community and will not be forgotten.
