WILSON, Sarah (Sadie) - It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Sarah (Sadie) Wilson at Matthews House Hospice on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 84 years old. Sarah is now reunited with her beloved Husband, Ernest Wilson of 49 years. Loving Mother of Malcolm, Margaret (Jimmy), and Maureen (Phil). Cherished Nana of Gary, Jamie, Sarah (Blake), Maggie (Chris) and Heather (Billy). And a very proud Great-Nana to many little ones. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family and friends.


Sarah was born in Glasgow, Scotland in 1936. She was a proud Glaswegian with quick wit and a beautiful smile. She would never leave the house without dressing her best and always loved a compliment or two.


Our family would like to extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to Matthews House Hospice. Sarah’s final journey was handled with much compassion and comfort.


At Sarah’s request no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Matthews House Hospice in her name.
