Sarafina Lentini

After a long, full life, Sarafina Lentini passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday July 19, 2021, at the age of 96. Devoted wife of the late Frank, proud mother of Antonio (deceased), Bruno (deceased), Dominic, Vincent (Wendy) and Marisa (Luciano Campoli). Cherished Nonna of Michelle, Nancy, Nicole, Frank, John, Daniella, Adam, Nadia and Tanya. Big Nonna of Lauren, Emma, Isabella, Brayden, Bradley, Gabriel, John Anthony, James, Alex, Noah, Hannah, Tessa and Myrah.
Sarafina will be dearly missed by her siblings Frank (Maribel), Vincenzo (Deceased) (Pina) and Dominic (Lucia) and her many family and friends, both in Canada and abroad. Sarafina lived a big life centered around her family. She was resilient and strong, the rock which kept her family connected. Family was the most important thing to Sarafina and she will be dearly missed by so many that loved her. Sarafina will be remembered fondly for her love of gardening and passion for cooking, her fondness for her homeland, Calabria, Italy and of course her devotion to her friends and family. Sarafina lived for her grand and great grandchildren and being a Nonna was her greatest joy. Spending time with her grandchildren would always bring a radiant smile to her face. In her passing, Sarafina has been reunited with the love of her life Frank, her children Bruno, Antonio and her parents Bruno and Margarita.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge just west of Pine Valley Dr., Woodbridge on Monday from 2-8 p.m. a funeral mass will be held on Tuesday July 27, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Westminster Cemetery.
