Sante Morello

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest Sante Morello. Surrounded by the love of his family Sante passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, in his 89^th year. Sante was born to Caterina & Antonio Morello in Italy, on September 21, 1935. 

Beloved husband of Maria for 65 wonderful years. He is reunited with his cherished daughter Cathy. Loving father of Carlo (Silvana) & Cristina (Tony).  Dear father-in-law of Leo. Loving grandfather of Alexandra (Matthew), Daniel (Sarah), Michaela (Dayne), Luca (Cheyenne), Valentina & Erica. Proud great grandfather of Abigail & Isla. He will be lovingly remembered by his extended family & friends both in Canada & Italy.

Sante was an honest and hardworking man. He came to Canada in 1953 where he met and married the love of his life Maria. Sante was fiercely committed to his family and found no greater role than that of his role as Husband, Father, Grandfather and later as Great Grandfather. 

Cremation has taken place. 

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Margaret Mary Church, 8500 Islington Ave, Woodbridge, on Friday April 19, 2024 at 10am. Visitation from 9am until 10am. Private Entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to Sick Kids Hospital or a charity of your choice.
