It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Salvatore Mazzuca. Salvatore passed peacefully on Sunday February 13 at 2:46 a.m. surrounded by his most beloved loved ones. A true beacon of kindness, who was loved by all those who had the pleasure of meeting him. He was born in Rende, Calabria, Italy in 1932. As a young man, he took the path less travelled and left the only world he knew to forge a better life in Toronto. He was a loving and devoted husband of more than 60 years to Rinuccia, treasured father to Adamo, and ever-present loving father-in-law to Annalia. He was a second father to Wilma and his grandsons Adam-Christian and Samuel, a loving grandfather-in-law to Katie and Catalina and a playful great-grandfather to Isaiah. He was a loving brother to: Michele, Francesco, Carmela, Marietta, Adelina, Antonio, Giovanni, Mario and Agostino. He spent a lifetime as a second brother to Miruzza and Marcella. He was a loving brother-in-law to Nella from Chicago, Illinois. He was a man of integrity, hard work, great kindness and joy. He will forever be a shining example to all those who strive to be the best of humanity.

Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home [4671 Highway #7, Woodbridge] [just west of Pine Valley drive] on Wednesday 4-9pm. Mass will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022 at 10am. A private Entombment will follow.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to Scleroderma Canada.

To safely manage and adhere to current social distancing requirements, please RSVP for the visitation and Mass. Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone remains mandatory as per provincial regulations.
