Passed away suddenly on Saturday January 26th, 2019 at the age of 86. Devoted husband of Vita of 58 wonderful years. Proud father of Joe and John. Loving father in law of Darlene and Mihaela. Cherished Nonno of Melissa (Cale) and Samantha. Loving great grandfather of Hailey and Daniel. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.
Salvatore immigrated to Canada in 1956 where he worked in construction. Here he met the love of his life Vita, they married on
July 23rd, 1960. They raised their two boys in North York and then moved up to Woodbridge.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, 905-851-9100 on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 pm. A mass will be celebrated at on Wednesday January 30th, 2019 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s Church 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
