"Sadie" Crane

Crane, Sarah Jane (Sadie) in her 102nd year. Peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday June 20th, 2017 at the Wyndham Manor, Oakville. Daughter of the late Robert and Alfreda Sharpe. Predeceased by her husband George and daughter Doreen. Also predeceased by 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Sadie is survived by her loving children, daughter Pearl, sons John, George Jr and Jerry (Loretta), and her brother Raymond (Phyllis). She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews, her 24 grandchildren, 61 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren, and her many friends. Sadie was born in Sydney, N.S and spent her early years in Cornerbrook, NFLD before moving back to N.S and finally settling down in Oakville, ON since 1978. She was a longtime parishioner of Church of the Epiphany in Bronte, and an avid bowler at Hopedale Bowl in Oakville. Visitation will be held Thursday June 22nd from 2-4 p.m and 7-9 p.m.,at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds St, Oakville. Funeral Service will be on Friday June 23rd 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in The Ward Funeral Home Chapel.
