Ruth Patricia Brandon

Ruth Brandon passed away peacefully on May 19th, 2023 in Huntsville, Ontario with family by her side. She is finally reunited with Mike Brandon, her loving husband of 56 years. Ruth will be dearly missed by her children: Michelle and Jim (Wright), Lynette and Randy (Wells), Kevin and Tracy, Neal and Sarah, Lisa and Jeff (Spence); and lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, along with siblings: Derek, Barrie and Malcolm Fortnam.

Ruth was born April 1st, 1936 to Leslie and Rose Fortnam in Harrow, London, England. In 1961, Ruth married Mike Brandon in Salisbury, Zimbabwe and moved their growing family to a new home in Canada in 1969. She was active in the churches they attended, serving in various ministries, including her many years spent at Bramalea Baptist Church. Her faith and love for Jesus motivated her to help others in need throughout her life.

A Celebration of Life service will take place at Bramalea Baptist Church, 9050 Dixie Rd, Brampton, on Friday May 26th, starting at 2:00pm.
