Ruth Hancock

Hancock, Ruth Evelyn (nee Goodman) – passed quietly in the loving
care of her family on morning of March 31, 2015 at The Allendale
Long Term Care Home in Milton, Ontario. The last surviving family
member of her generation, living into her 96th Spring. Predeceased by
husband Glen Clarke Hancock (1998). Mother of Lynda Ruth Brown
(James) and Mary Evelyn Hancock (Gerry Brooks). Grandmother to
Melanie Lynn Burgess (Steve), Michael James Brown (Jennifer) and
Georgea Brooks-Hancock. Great-grandmother to Jenna, Madison, Michaela and Jordan
Brown. Ruth was the youngest child of Edward James Goodman (1955) and Meta Lilla
Irene (nee Gregory) (1975) and was predeceased by her brother Keith Ray Goodman
(1973) and survived by Keith’s son Wayne. In keeping with Ruth’s wishes there will be
no funeral. Interment will take place in the Orono Cemetery. Condolences and memories
may be shared through the Ward Funeral Home in Oakville.
