Passed away surrounded by his loving family after a short struggle with cancer on February, 4th, 2014 at the age of 82. Devoted husband of Ev of 63 loving years. Proud father to Wayne (Marna-Rose), Cheryl Swala (Carl predeceased), Rick (Pat) and Diane Aplin (Don predeceased). Cherished grandpa of Justin, Lauren, Colin, Daniel, Jessica, Jacqueline, Calvin, Kym (Carey) and Warren. Great grandfather to Rayne and Arielle. Russ will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Rd., Weston (just north of Lawrence Ave., W.) on Sunday, February from 2-4 p.m. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Credit Valley Hospital would be appreciated.
