April 4, 1936 – February 27, 2015

Supported and surrounded by the special love of his family during his lengthy illness, Rupert Stewart passed away peacefully at the William Olser Etobicoke General Hospital, at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife Icylyn, children, grand and great-grand children (Canada, USA and Jamaica).
Rupert, a strong and courageous man, was a devoted and hard working person who lived a full life of blessing, humour and happiness. Through it all, he fought with a passion to live, so he could continue this life with us.
From our family, we extend a very special thanks to his many home caregivers, doctors and nurses at the hospital and especially during his end days in the Palliative Care Unit – Etobicoke General Hospital.
Friends and family will be received at the Ward Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge 905-851-9100 for visitation, Friday, March 13 from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 14 at the Revivaltime Tabernacle Worldwide Ministries, 4340 Duffrin Street, Downsview, Ontario for the celebration of his life (9:00 – 10:00 a.m. – Viewing and at 10:00 a.m. – Service).
