Roy Baker

With much sadness, we announce that Roy’s life journey ended peacefully on November 1, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (2008) for 64 years. Cherished father of Warren and his wife Jananne. Devoted grandfather of Craig (Christina) and Jennifer (Tony), and proud great- grandfather of Addisen, Jackson, Natalie and Aren. Fondly remembered by extended family, friends and neighbours. Youngest and last surviving of the immediate family of George and Miriam Baker. Predeceased by siblings Minnie, Jack, Steve, Edna, and Jean.
WWII Veteran, RCN, serving aboard the HMCS Uganda. Longtime member of the Weston Silver Band. We are grateful, for his long, healthy and contented life, and were blessed to have his presence in ours for so many years. Special thanks to the palliative care staff at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, on Wednesday November 5, 2014, from 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm. Private cremation and interment to follow.
