Drane, Ross Alfred
April 2, 1938-April 10, 2016

Born in East York, son of Jack Drane & Alice Sturgess, encouraged by step-father William Porter. Loved by wife Maureen (nee Moores) for 55 full years.

Cherished by daughters Kelly French (Don) & Jennifer Sinclair (Scott), grandchildren Jocelyn & Amanda, Abby & Colin. Missed by brother Walter and step-brother Bill.

Ross retired from the North York Fire Department as Captain after 30 years of service. Owner of Lastic Products, meeting its challenges with determination. Westway United Church member for nearly 40 years.

He lived well with colon cancer for 2 1/2 years bearing the last 6 weeks with dignity.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday, April 14th from 5-9 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at Westway United Church, 8 Templar Drive, Etobicoke, on Friday, April 15th at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Brampton Civic Hospital Oncology or Westway United Church would be appreciated.
