Rosie Colella (nee Ienco)

After a courageous battle with cancer, Rosie Ienco-Colella passed away peacefully on August 5, 2016. Her strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, with the love and prayers of family and friends, supported her through this hardship. Even throughout her own struggle with Cancer, she reached out to others affected by this dreadful disease in many ways. Rosie was a very caring and compassionate person; always put the needs of others before her own. A very descriptive writer and inspiration blogger, “Rosiestrong” became the pillar of her battle that commanded everyone’s attention to have faith and strength to continue the fight. Rosie will forever be remembered by her beloved, dedicated and soulmate husband Mark, her devoted and unconditional loving parents Connie and Joe, inspirational brother Bruno, loving sisters Maria and Rachel, compassionate mother in law Teresa, beloved brother and sister in laws, Sandro, Andrew, David, Frank, Aphrodite, Laura and Nadia; treasured nephews and nieces; Joseph, James ,Julian, Madison, Lauren and MacKenzie, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to have known her.
Friends and family are invited to Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge, on Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm, and on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Padre Pio Church, 5500 Major Mackenzie Dr. West (west of Islington Ave) Kleinburg, on Tuesday August 9, 2016 at 10am. Entombment at Glendale Cemetery, Toronto.
