Rosetta "Rose" Ann Clark

"It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Rosetta Ann Clark, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who peacefully passed away at Deerwood Creek Care Community on December 16, 2024, at the age of 86.

Rose was born on January 29, 1938, in Toronto, Ontario. She was happily married to her late beloved husband, Ernest Wilfred Joseph Clark, who passed away in 1988. She is survived by her children, Carl (Sophie), Patricia (John), Karen, and Deborah; her grandchildren, William, Howard, Robert, Christina, Alyssa (Christopher) and Kimberly, and great-granddaughter Caitlin. She will be missed by her many siblings, Bill, Margaret, (late) Robert, Helen, June, Howard, and Ernie as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A devoted mother to her four children, a proud grandmother of six, and great-grandmother to one, Rose’s greatest joy was her family. From getting her grandchildren season passes to Wild Water Kingdom every summer, to her cherished tea dates with her children, and annual Christmas gatherings where she would make her famous fruit cake, her love knew no bounds. She will be remembered for her infectious laughter and gentle spirit that left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. In addition to the love she had for her family, Rose was deeply involved with Good Year Boy Scouts in her younger years where she expressed her love for exploring nature and camping with her husband and family. Rose’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19th, 2024 from 4PM to 8PM at Ward Funeral Home (2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON, M9N 1X7). A final visitation will be held on Friday, December 20th 9:30 AM, followed by a service to honor her memory at 10:30AM. Interment will take place at Prospect Cemetery (1450 St. Clair Ave West, Toronto, ON, M6E 1C6). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Society in Rose’s honor."
