ZUCKER, Rosemarie Hildegard

Passed away peacefully at the Toronto General Hospital on Thursday, October 31, 2013, in her 91st year. Daughter to the late Otto and Elizabeth Zucker. Survived by her sister Christa and predeceased by her brother Johannes. Loving Godmother to Reneé Grose-Clarke and Jane Bateman.

Rosemarie was born in Breslau, Germany. She adored her adoptive country Canada and explored its varied landscapes. Rosemarie had an exceptional career as a Registered Nurse, delivering expert care and compassion. Her many friends enjoyed her humour, love of ideas, spirited sense of adventure, and thoughtfulness. Rosemarie took a keen and sincere interest in the lives of the younger generations.

A Celebration of Rosemarie’s Life will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road, on Sunday December 8th, from 1:00 to 3:00 pm.

Rosemarie gave generously to many different organizations, only if you desire, make a small donation to a charity of your choice in memory of Rosemarie’s giving nature.
