Salamone, Rosaria “Rosie” ( nee Paldino)

With her loving family and her caregiver always at her side, Rosie passed away on the morning of Tuesday, December 30, 2014. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Luigi and her son, Anthony. Devoted and loving mother of Maria & Tom Pileggi, Franca & John Dekany, Virginia & Jim Fera, Mirella & Joe Stillo, and James & Carolyn. Doting and cherished “Nonna” of Teresa & Lucio Di Davide, Joseph & Poonam, Marie Rose & Adrian, Melissa, Anthony and Ryan, and Bis-Nonna to Mileena Sara. A special thank you to Alma, for taking the best care of her. Rosaria was a dear sister to her 3 brothers, sister, her many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, all her extended family and many friends. A special thank you to Dr. Keith Kwok and his staff at the Heart Function Clinic.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Thursday, from 4-8pm, and on Friday, from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Parish, 300 Ansley Grove Road, Woodbridge on Saturday January 3, 2015 at 9:30am. Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, as expression of sympathy, donations to the North York General Hospital – Heart Function Clinic Dept., would be greatly appreciated by the family.
