Mrs. Rosa Testa (1932-2022)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Rosa Testa on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the age of 89. She was surrounded by her loving family including her husband Guiseppe. Rosa was born in Patrica, Frosinone, Italy and met Guiseppe when they were children. They were married for 66 years.

Rosa will be forever missed by her sons Massimo (Silvia) and Luciano, grand-children Michael, Stephanie, Andrew, Luca, and Vanessa, and great-grandson, Lucian. Rosa is predeceased by her twin brother Franco Grossi, and brothers Gino Grossi and Peppino Grossi. She is survived by her sisters Dionina Corridori and Maria DiCarlo.

We will always remember Rosa as being adored and loved by everyone. She was warm and generous, welcoming everyone into her home. She always said that her life’s purpose was to worry, feed, and pray for her family.

Special thanks to her palliative care doctor, Dr. Abrams, nurse Denise, and all of her personal support workers including Intistar and Sophie.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Thursday, February 24 from 3-5 and 6-8pm.

A Mass will be held at St. Fidelis Church 33 Connie Street, North York, ON on Friday, February 25th at 10:30am.

Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven.
