RONALD 'RON' SMITH (Veteran RAF) Peacefully on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Kipling Acres in his 88th year. Predeceased by his wife Jean, son Colin and fiancée Inge Tahur. Survived by his loving children Rosaland Sabet and Vaughn (Lora); daughter-in-law Barbara; numerous grand and great- grandchildren and siblings Cynthia Woods and Raymond Smith. A special thank you to the staff at Kipling Acres for making Ron's last days as comfortable as possible. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Avenue West), Weston on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. A service will be held in the Ward Chapel on Thursday at 1 p.m. followed by cremation.
