RONALD JOSEPH FAIRHOLM Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on July 23, 2009 in his 77th year after a courageous battle with cancer. Cherished husband of June for 56 wonderful years. Loving father of Terry (Diana) and Don (Debbie). Beloved brother of Ross and Larry (Joyce). Poppa will be greatly missed by his six grandsons Adam, Mark, Derek, Bryan, Sean and Curt. Special thanks to all those who provided outstanding care including Dr. David Hedley and the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital, and also the Acclaim Health Group in Oakville. Visitation will be held at the Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, on Sunday from 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church, 47 Reynolds Street, Oakville. Interment to follow at St. Jude's Cemetery. If desired, remembrances may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital, the V Foundation or the Ron and June Fairholm Scholarship Fund at Loyola High School in Montreal.
