Ronald Cheval

"Ronald Matthew Cheval, 76, of Etobicoke, passed away on June 1, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on September 11, 1933. He was a very loving and caring husband to Irene (Phillips). He was predeceased by his parents, Emmeline and Albert Cheval.

He was a most beloved father for his children, son, David Cheval of Etobicoke, and daughter, Diane Cheval-Duford (Randy) of Yukon, Oklahoma, grandchildren, Shane, Macy, and Madison. He is survived by sisters and brothers and their families, Adelaide Roach (Gordon), Albert Cheval, Dorothy Cerulli (Lionel), Emmeline Barrett (Robert Sr.), Richard Cheval, Arthur Cheval (Terry) and predeceased by brother George (May).

Ronald was devoted to his family and to his God, Jehovah. He lovingly and tirelessly cared for his responsibilities to them, and served as an elder in the Mount Dennis congregation for many years. He had many dear friends in his spiritual family and will be remembered fondly and missed by all.

His chief goal was to help others learn of the grand hope of everlasting life in a Paradise earth, where “death will be no more” (Rev 21:3,4). He will be sadly missed.

Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah‘s Witnesses, 5 Maple Leaf Drive (401&Jane) on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to Watchtower, Box 4100, Georgetown, On L7G 4Y4."
