On July 9th, 2015, beloved husband of Margaret Mellon Carroll and the late Margaret Eleanor Carroll. Loving father of Glenn, Roderick, Beverley, Lesley and Jacqueline. Grandpa will also be sadly missed by his thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Former vice president and business representative of Local 353 I.B.E.W. and the Toronto and Central Ontario Building and Construction Trades Council. Ron was an active executive board member of Local 353 I.B.E.W. Retirees Club and served as president for five years, during his many years of involvement. He was affiliated with Masonic Lodges Services 1291 Edinburgh, Scotland and Unity 710 GRC Brampton.
Remember him with a smile today; He was not one for tears; Reflect instead on memories of all the happy years. Recall to mind the way he spoke and all the things he said; His strength, his stand, the way he walked, remember these instead; The good advice he’d give us, his eyes that shone with laughter. So much of him will never die, but live forever after.
As per Ron’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Ward Funeral Home (52 Main St. Brampton)
For nothing loved is ever lost and he was loved so much.
