Beckett, Ronald Charles (Retired Metropolitan Toronto Police Officer and D Day Veteran of WWII) - peacefully after a long and full life on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Sunnybrook K Wing just a week shy of his 94th birthday. Loving husband of Phyllis. Dear father of Mary and Inez (David) Wilkins and step father of Eileen Markwick (Don Wright), Anne Turpin (Gary) and the late Linda Butler. Loving grandpa of Anne, Simon, Alicia, Michelle (Walaa), Steven, Adam, Julia, Melanie and Laura (Xenia). A Celebration of Ronald's life will be held on Tuesday, from 1-3 p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston. In lieu of flowers, donations to the K Wing of Sunnybrook Health Centre would be greatly appreciated.
