APPLETON, Ronald S. - (Retired after 48 years from Carlton Cards) Born on September 12, 1930, entered into rest after a short battle with lung cancer on January 27, 2010. Predeceased by his parents Sydney and Winifred. Loving brother of Bruce and Joyce Whitaker. Dear uncle of Debbie (Gaspare) Matranga, Tracey (Doug) Parfett, Donna (Dave) Sulston and Doug (Susan) Appleton of USA and great-nieces and nephews Sara, Paula, Brooke, Heather, Andrew, Mathew, Brian and David. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Avenue West), Weston on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until time of service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
