Obituary for Romeo Franco Tracogna
On September 25th, 2009, in his 75th year, our beloved Romeo passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at Brampton Civic Hospital. Loving Husband of Maria Tracogna, for over 50 years. Devoted Father of Gianni, Walter and Angela Tracogna. Adoring Grandfather to three beautiful girls, Elaina, Lauren and Chloe who all loved him very much. He will be sadly missed by Sandi, Sofya and Glenn. Romeo came to Canada in the late 1950’s from Friuli, Italy. He was joined by his wife Maria and first son Gianni soon afterwards. He was a proud Canadian and Friulan, working hard to provide for a better life for his children and grandchildren. Romeo worked as a proud member of the Carpenters Union and had a passion for living. Romeo was generous, kind and passionate. He loved his family and the company of good friends, including his dog Ginger. He had a fond appreciation of music, dancing, good food and wine, geography, and soccer (Inter Milan). Romeo is survived by a close sister Marcella in Italy and extended relations of both the Tracogna and Cencig families. Romeo we miss you and love you. You went too quickly from us and we will never forget you. Arrangements entrusted to Ward Funeral Home – Woodbridge Chapel, 905-851-9100. A Book of Memories may be signed at www.wardfuneralhome.com
