FERZOCO, Romeo - February 21, 1929 - December 17, 2009 It is with immeasurable sadness that the family of Romeo announces his peaceful passing with his beloved wife Vincenza by his side. Romeo is the loving and dedicated father of Connie, Mirella (Diego Bertolo) and Marco (Nancy Zappavigna). Cherished Nonno of Jason and Michael Bablanian, Amanda and Steven Bertolo, Erica and Sofia Ferzoco. Dearest brother to Maria Ferzoco and Vincenza Campochiaro. Loving brother-in-law to Anna Di Loreto. Predeceased by his parents Concetta and Zaccaria, his brother G. John Ferzoco, his sisters-in-law Rosaria Di Felice and Pompea Ferzoco and by his brothers-in-law Angelo Di Loreto, Giovanni Campochiaro, Sergio Ferzoco and Marino Di Felice. Romeo will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Romeo's family would like to extend a thank you to Dr. Caplan, the nurses and the Palliative Care Unit of the Etobicoke General Hospital for their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Rd. (north of Lawrence Ave. W.), Weston, on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Catholic Church (2889 Islington Ave., Toronto). Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Etobicoke General Hospital - Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated.
