Roberto Baldassi

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Roberto Baldassi on December 25, 2023. Roberto was born to parents Giovanni & Cesarina Baldassi in Italy.

Predeceased by his beloved wife Giusepina Baldassi. Cherished father of Mara (Giuseppe), Diana, Renzo (Karen). Proud Nonno of Joseph, Joshua, Kristen & Lauren. He is now reunited with his dear siblings, and will be lovingly remembered by his many cousins, nieces & nephews both in Canada & Italy.

Roberto met & married the love of his life Giuseppina in Zompicchia, Italy. They decided to travel to Canada, where they established themselves & welcomed their 3 children. A proud bricklayer of Local #2, he would proudly tell his family of his achievements, he was so honoured to have been involved in the building of The Power Plant Shop a Toronto Art Gallery, as well as the Scarborough Town Centre to name a few. Spending the afternoon watching his beloved AC Milan brought him such joy. He loved working in his garden. His vegetable garden was tended to with such care; his fruit trees & grapes bloomed so beautifully.

His family will remember him as a kind, selfless & caring man who would do anything for his loved ones. He loved to spend time with his grandchildren & supported them in any way he was able, daily activities with them brought him immense joy. He will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

Private Entombment will take place. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
