Robert “Bob” Wilkinson

Peacefully passed away at Kensington Gardens Nursing Home on March 10, 2018 at the age of 79. Predeceased by his loving wife Diane. Bob is survived by his cousin Susan (Brian) McDermott, overseas in England. Bob worked and retired as Group Chief Copywriter, in the Sears Canada catalogue advertising department in the headquarters building. Both Bob and Diane were very active in the greater Toronto community theatre community. Bob enjoyed performing on stage and behind the scenes for numerous community theatre groups. And in his later years, Bob enjoyed being a film extra in many tv commercials and feature films shot in Toronto, such as Chicago, Cinderella Man, and Blues Brothers 2000.

At Bob’s request no visitation or service will be held.

Many thanks to the nursing and care-giver staff at Kensington Gardens Nursing Home, for all their care and support given to Robert.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, would be greatly appreciated.
