Robert Nalli

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Nalli.

Robert passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital, on December 27, 2024, at the age of 77. Dearly beloved husband of AnnaMaria (Mary) Loving brother of Piero (Mary) and Frank (Morena). Brother in Law of Ted [predeceased] (Christina).

Dear uncle of Richard, Laura, Sandra, Luca, Alana, and John Paul. Robert will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. In 1966, at the age of 19, Robert moved to Toronto, Canada from Colleferro, Italy with his family. He loved Canada and embraced his new home fully, but continued to keep Italy, Rome in particular, in his heart and life always. Robert was a Mechanical Engineer Designer for many years. He was very proud to have worked at Lovat Tunnelling where he worked on many projects including the design and creation of tunnel boring machines for the excavation of subway systems in Toronto, Turin, Italy, and Spain amongst others.

Robert was a man of many talents and had many interests. Anyone who knew Robert will remember his infectious passion for skiing, and tennis, following his favourite Formula 1 team: Ferrari, and his favorite soccer team: Roma. He loved gardening, art, classical music, film, travelling, wine making, Italian cuisine, and especially his beloved espresso.

Resting at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge, Chapel, on Thursday, January 2, 2O25 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 1415 Royal York Road, at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025.  Entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
