Robert (Bob) Cairney

November 13, 1934 - August 30,2024

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts to announce the passing of a loving Father and Papa who will be greatly missed by his children, grandchildren as well as family and friends.

Passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024 in his 90th year with his daughter and grandson by his side.

He has now been reunited with his loving wife Dona, the love of his life of 44 years who passed away in 2009.

He will be dearly missed by his children Susan (Lournco) Pereira, Robert Cairney (Jr), grandchildren Rachel Cairney, and Joey Pereira,
sisters Rachel Haye, Marion (Bob) Foley, brother-in-laws Alan (Carol) Brown, Larry (Vanda) Brown, Wayne (Betty) Brown and sister-in-law Gale (Rejean) Hebert, along with many nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Isabella Cairney, brothers John (Jack) Cairney, Peter (Muir) Cairney, Hugh Cairney and sister Mary (Moira) Irwin.

Visitation will be on September 13, 2024 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm followed by service at 1:00 in the chapel.
Interment at Meadowvale Cemetery.

For those that wish to send flowers to the family in memory of Robert,  you are welcome to do so. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice in his memory.
