Robert "Bob" Rousseau

Robert Ashley Rousseau, 79 years old, of Brampton, Ontario died in Willliam Osler Hospital in Brampton of natural causes. He was born on September 21, 1945 and was one of eight children born to parents Keith and Leonie Rousseau in Kingston, Jamaica. He married Suzanne on November 28, 1965 and they had two children, Robert Jr. and Cassandra. Robert worked for Air Canada and retired after 28 years. His work allowed him the privilege of travel with his family to many places, many times back to his birthplace, Jamaica. He loved watching sports, especially football - Football Sunday was an exciting day in the house and also horseracing, his love for horseracing being passed down from his father. Robert and a few of his brothers carried on that passion with thoroughbred horseracing ownership and attending Woodbine Racetrack on a regular basis with the family. Robert's wife, Suzanne passed on September 18th, 2010. He is survived by his son Robert Jr. and daughter Cassandra as well as his 5 grandchildren Marcus, Morgan, Erin, Robyn, and Joshua, and siblings Kayanne, Paul, Marlene, Roger, and Christopher and two brother that have passed on, Bruce and Nicholas.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at 2:00p.m. at the Ward Funeral Home, 52 Main Street South, in Brampton, Ontario.
