In her sleep on Friday June 13th 2014 in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Lucien and loving mother of the late Jeannette McConnell. Sadly missed by grandchildren Tina (Mike) McGrath and Jeff (Brenda) McConnell; great grandchildren Shawn (Kuini), Amanda (Dario), Megan, Stephanie, and Stephen and great-great grandchildren Zod, Ava, Riley, and Jace.
Rita was a long time resident of Peel Village and more recently enjoyed living at Southbrook Seniors Residence Brampton.
