RICHARD “ART” DEMPSEY


Peacefully in his 86th year surrounded by his family on October 6, 2015. Loving husband to Lois. He will be greatly missed by his two daughters Lynn (David) and Carol (Brian). He will also be missed by his grandchildren Lauren, Greg and Michael and great grandchildren Emily and Christopher. Also missed by many nieces and nephews. Eldest of 12 children, survived by siblings Gerald (Amy), Barb (Dave), Sharon, Gary (Kathy) and Sandra. Art was past president and long time member of MG Car CLub of Toronto and the Treasurer of the British Empire Car Club. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home 2035 Weston Road (north of Lawrence Ave) Weston, on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 6-9pm. A service will be held in the chapel on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 3pm. Interment to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated
