Passed away peacefully at the Ian Anderson House, Oakville with family at his side, on Wednesday April 20th , 2011. He is predeceased by his wife Gladys Marjorie (Heath). Loving father of Jim and wife Mary of Port Perry, Bill and wife Hilda of Oakville. Dear Gramp to Jonathon, Rob, Andrew, Jamie and Thomas. Dear Great Gramp to Kristin, Blain, Austin, Benjamin, and Noah. Dear brother of Rose Marie Carpenter of England and the late Marguerite Blight. He celebrated 60 years as an Anglican Priest last year. Member of the United Empire Loyalists, Governor Simcoe Branch. He will be remembered for his sense of humour and positive attitude. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston on Monday April 25th from 3-5 & 6-8pm. A Celebration of Ralph’s life will be held at St. David’s Anglican Church (1796 Lawrence Ave. West) on Tuesday April 26th at 11am. Interment Wednesday April 27th at 1 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe, Ontario.In lieu of flowers donation s may be made to Ian Anderson House, the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
