Rev. Fr. Garry Lehigh

Lehigh, Garry Joseph - Father Lehigh passed away peacefully Friday, June 10, 2016, at the age of 72. Beloved son of Betty Lehigh and the late Beaumont Lehigh of Cobourg. Loving brother of Liz Rogerson (Mike), of Janetville, Katherine Gibbs (Bob), of Toronto, and the late Bob Lehigh. Dear Uncle of Darrin (Candice), Jerry (Angie), Craig and Deborah. Great Uncle of Tyler, Dylan and Brett.
Father Garry was ordained a Priest on May 1, 1976. He served as Associate Pastor at Transfiguration of Our Lord Parish, Etobicoke, St. John Fisher Parish, Bramalea and St. Gregory the Great Parish, Oshawa. He was Chaplain at Providence Healthcare, Scarborough. He was Administrator at Christ the King Parish, Etobicoke and Pastor at St. John the Evangelist Parish, Weston.
Visitation will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Weston, 49 George St on Thursday, June 16, 2016 between 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Weston, on Friday, June 17, 2016, at 11:00 a.m., followed by light refreshments in the church hall.
Burial will be held at St. Michael's Cemetery, Cobourg, Saturday, June 18, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. with refreshments to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "St. Vincent de Paul Society".
