Rennel Higgins

HIGGINS, Rennel Ishmael - Suddenly, with his family by his side at the Brampton Civic Hospital on Thursday, November 26, 2009 in his 81st year. Mr. Higgins leaves his loving wife Mavis Walters-Higgins and his dear children, Glenford Higgins, Denise Sampson, Cyril Higgins, Francis Higgins, Garfield Higgins and Sherrel Higgins. Step-children LeoPold Hyatt, Winston Walters, Thelma Walters-Duncan and Karren Griffith Dennis Walters. Proud grandfather to 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and 18 step-grandchildren and 6 great-step-grandchildren. Rennel is predeceased by his first wife Esmeral Higgins and his parents. Mr. Higgins will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Family and Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home "Brampton Chapel", 52 Main Street South (Hwy. 10), Brampton, on Friday, December 4, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at the Covenant of Promise Ministries, 30 Penn Drive, North York, at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
