SELLAN, Renato - Beloved and cherished son, husband, father, uncle, cousin, brother-in-law and friend, Renato died peacefully on Tuesday morning April 5th after trying one more time to beat cancer with all the strength he could raise. Renato will be missed by all whom he touched and especially so by his wife and soulmate, Barbara (Tetzlaff) and beloved children Emily and Christopher. Missing him tremendously are his mother Carmela and brother Adriano, sister Lucy and husband Wayne, along with daughter Lisa and granddaughter Courtney. For over 30 years, Renato cherished his Tetzlaff family, including mother and father-in-law Marlene and Waldemar, brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Kim and brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Maureen and nephews Adam and Stefan. Family and friends were dearest to Renato's heart including those in Tiezzo, Italy and Germany where many happy memories were made. He has gone to join the many family and friends before him with fishing rod in hand and the love of family and friends in his heart. Visitation on Friday, April 8th at Ward Funeral Home, Woodbridge from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral to be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 300 Ansley Grove Rd., Woodbridge, at 9 a.m. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Sabrina Allegro and Dr. Sheldon Katz of Humber River Regional Hospital for their care and compassion and to all family and friends whose prayers and well wishes were greatly appreciated and brought him great comfort. If desired, donations may be made to the Hospital for SickKids and the Canadian Cancer Society.
