It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Renato Campoli. Surrounded by his loved ones, Renato passed away peacefully on October 29, 2022, in his 85th year. Renato was born to Massimo & Scolastica Campoli, in Veroli, Italy, on April 6, 1938.

Beloved husband of Maria Campoli ‘nee Panici’ married 58 years. Loving father of Massimo (Amanda) & Rob (Daniela). Proud grandfather of Sophia, Hannah, Gianna, Milana & Arianna. Dear brother & brother-in-law to Lina (Giulio), Nancy (late Vincenzo), and will be lovingly remembered by his extended family.

By trade a construction worker for over 40 years. Renato’s friends and family will remember him as a kind, gentle & caring man who created a better life for his family here in Canada. Memories of wine making in the cantina will forever fill our hearts with warmth and fondness. Nothing made Renato more happy, proud, or complete than being surrounded by his loved ones, playing his accordion as his fingers flew over the keys. He played all kinds of music, from traditional Italian melodies, love songs, and even Canadian anthems.
He will forever remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home (4671 Hwy 7, Woodbridge) on Monday, October 31, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge) Wednesday, November 1, 2022, at 9:30 a.m., with entombment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the University Health Network Peter Munk Cardiac Unit.
