We are deeply saddened to lose a great husband/father/grandfather/friend/card player on Thursday May 2, 2019 in the arms of his loving wife of 52 years. He had a long struggle with his health but never lost his love for his family or his sense of humour. Husband to Lynda (Edwards), Father to Susan (Masson) and Dave and Adam and Shannon (Turnbull), Grandfather to Ryan, Paul, John, Spencer, and Devan. Brother to Donald Hall (Pam), June Scott, Joan Hanousek (Paul), and Jim Hall (Jennifer), predeceased by Brenda Hall. Brother-in-law to Dorothy Kelly, and Ray Edwards (Jaki). Ray shared a deep love for people. He was awarded for his extensive volunteer work and service over the years to various committees and clubs. He took great pride in all of the projects he took on, most recently for Rosedale village. Rosedale residents can think of him every time they see the suggestion box that he made for the front lobby. He enjoyed many hobbies and tinkering around in his awesome man cave. He was always up for a good game of cards or darts and loved a good party.
As per Ray’s wishes there will be a private cremation followed by an open Celebration of Life. His party will be on Friday May 17, 2019 from 6:30 – 10:30pm at the Rosedale Village Clubhouse – 45 Via Rosedale, Brampton, Ontario. (Nearest intersection – Sandalwood and hwy 410). Directions to club house will be provided at the front gate. Light refreshments will be served. Please join us in remembering and celebrating Ray.
