Born March 22nd, 1918. Passed away peacefully at home with family on Friday July 8th, 2011. Predeceased by his beloved wife Rita. Dear Father to Lorie (Shelby) Futch, Jim (Pat), David, Cathy (Gerry) Roth, Bill (Linda), Honey (Elmer) Ellerby, Genevieve (Clark) Carson. Sadly missed by his 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Special thanks to Ruth, his wonderful caregiver. The Pro Life movement has lost a dedicated supporter. Family and friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home “Brampton Chapel”, 52 Main Street South (Hwy. 10), Brampton on Sunday from 3-8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 5440 Durie Road, Streetsville, L5M 2J5.
