Passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on Sunday, August 07, 2022 in his 92nd. yr. Beloved husband to the late Mary (nee Facto) who predeceased him on March 3, 2003. Loving and cherished father of Sharon Tonelli, Debbie Waring (husband Steve), Terry Miller (husband Andy), Randy McPherson (wife Diana), Ann Parker (late husband Ron) and Mary Rayner (husband Gord). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He will also be dearly missed by his sister Audrey Verge. Mr. McPherson was a veteran of the Korean War where he proudly served as a member of the Princess Patricia Canadian Light Infantry. Visitations will be held at the Ward Funeral Home located at 52 Main Street, South Brampton on Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Ward Funeral Home on Friday August 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow immediately at Meadowvale cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
