Piyari Chaudry

It is with the greatest sadness to announce that our beloved mother, Piyari Salamat Chaudry, went to the Lord early Sunday Morning.

Mrs. Piyari Salamat Chaudry was born in Sialkot, Pakistan, on February 14, 1935, and was married to Late Salamat Chaudry (Master Lall).  

After completing her education, she started to teach at the girl’s high school in Christian Town / Bara Pather, in Sialkot Pakistan. 

After her marriage, she joined St. Anthony High School in Sialkot Pakistan as a teacher. She was loved and adored by her students and staff alike, 

and several of her students from Sialkot are now residing in the GTA.  She moved to Canada in 1977 with her young children, and started to attend

 Humberlea Worship Center.

She accepted the Lord as her personal Savior when she was in middle school, and joined the Pentecostal movement, when it started in the early sixties. 

Lord used her to heal and be a blessing for many others.
She was a prayer warrior, and every day after breakfast, her routine was to read the Bible, and pray with her prayer partners until lunch. 

After lunch, she regularly watched religious programs on Daystar, and other channels.

 Subsequent to that, she took her afternoon nap then prayed and read the Bible again until dinner time. In the evening, she prayed 

and watched religious programs on TV until her sleep time.

She started following the Lord when she was a teenager and stood firm in the faith until she went to her Savior on Sunday February 18 at 12:50 AM. 

Her passion was to serve the Lord, attend religious services and Conventions, share her testimony, and tell others about Jesus.

She was very much Disciplined, Organized, Loving, Caring, and Compassionate person. Devoted wife of the late Salamat. Proud mother of Shama (Eliasaph), Obaid (Josephine), Noel (Shagufta) and Max (Shama). Cherished Ami (Grandmother) of Simon (Nadia), Asher (Sarica), Amir (Veronica), Shawn (Saba), Samuel (Robia), Ruby and Emmanuel. Loving Ami (Great grandmother) of Arya, Jericho and Izaya. Piyari has been reunited with her dear husband Salamat. Loving sister of Piyara (predeceased) and Maqbul.
