Pio peacefully passed away on September 25, 2014 at Southlake Hospital at the age of 65 after 33 years of dialysis. Beloved husband of Franca and dearest father of Anthony (Patty) and Christina. Precious nonno of Olivia. Dear brother of Domenica (Alberico) and Mario (Filomena). He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Dr. Cantarutti and Dr. Pierattos and all the staff of the Home Nocturnal Dialysis Team of Humber River Hospital.

Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 4671 Hwy 7 (west of Pine Valley Dr.), Woodbridge, on Saturday from 6-9 pm and Sunday from 2-4 & 6-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 29, at 9:30 am from St. Clare of Assisi Church (150 St. Francis Ave.) Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Humber River Hospital, Home Dialysis Unit, 2175 Keele St., Toronto ON M6A 3Z4 would be appreciated.
