Pio Cescon

Peacefully and surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 3, 2016. Pio will be dearly missed by his wife Anna, daughters Tiziana (Carlo) and Barbara (Aldo). Devoted grandfather to Paul, Lucas, Michael and Andrew. He will also be missed by his brothers and sister in Italy and friends in Toronto and Acapulco. Pio will be remembered for his optimism, courage and warm smile. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeral Home, 2035 Weston Road (North of Lawrence Ave. W.) Weston, on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Philp Neri Catholic Church, 2100 Jane St., Toronto, on Thursday at 11:30am. A private entombment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
